Ok I’m assuming you read my blog. I’m also assuming, being the conceited prat that I am, you want to know my real identity. But unluckily I can’t tell you, not for now anyway.
Why?
The main reason I’ve started this blog is due to its anonymity. I’m not chained to any social or cultural bonds, I don’t have to live up to expectations…I’m free! This blog is my experiment lab where I tweak my writing to make my ultimate dream of being a renowned Nepali writer come true. So please please forgive me for this but I can’t give you my real name.
But I can give you a lot of other things. My online alias is Shane and I’m just an aspiring writer, not a published one. Don’t give me that annoyed look, I’m just 15! I live in Kathmandu, the city of temples, sewers and pollution and love writing with all my heart.
So here I am, typing contentedly on this WordPress blog, sharing my mediocre stories and poems for the inspection of the big bad world. But be warned that I don’t have any specific genres or topics I write about. I might write a horror story, satirical article, poem or simply rant about myself and my life if the mood strikes me.
I’m very welcome to constructive criticism and suggestions so please don’t hesitate if you have to say something, perhaps point out a grammar inaccuracy, spelling error or something else that I must improve. I’ll be eternally grateful to you.
Shane
Also I’m letting you know that every word, repeat every word on this blog is copyrighted. So you can’t copy any article here without my permission. I don’t want to put this little © symbol on every post, so I’m letting you know beforehand on the About page.
Pssst! Find out how old Dikshya is, please. I know this is the fastest way to reach you…
You-Know-Who
You-Know-Who,
Hello Lord Voldemort, I’ll try to find out how old Dikshya is. Didn’t she add you on Facebook? And how am I supposed to know how old she is? Well I can’t ask a woman’s age outright so I’ll just sift through her blog posts and search for some reference to her age. That’s the best I can do.
Her birthday is probably June 8 and she might(emphasis on might) be 30. I feel like a stalker, hope you have a good reason for asking (doubtful)
couldn’t help laughing after reading your comments here! so I thought I might make things easier for you. She isn’t 30, it was only an excerpt from her favourite book…c’s in her early twenties. ( P.S I just happen to know her very well)
Why doesn’t anyone post their real names here? You all don’t need to be inspired by me
So are you Dikshya herself(I think that’s the case) or the guy who poses as ‘thesame’ and ‘you-know-who’ or some person I just don’t know???
damn, it’s getting confusing…
Hey!Guys wht’s really happening? Someone wants to know my age, someone knows it and it’s really confusing.
Mr. Voldemort as I see it you must still be in your teens since you are a friend of Shane. Well, our story is not going to end like ‘Cheryl’ and the crush part is only as good as it lasts. You will get over it, don’t get too hooked.
Shane don’t feel like a stalker. HAVE A NICE DAY!
Shane,
You are 15 Years old and wrote all these.Your writing is good.Keep it up.
Um…I know I’m 15. No need to state the obvious. Anyway thanks!
among the others I have searched this week, i found yours the best. You write well, and I don’t why you can’t come out of the closet. It’s about time. Are you worried that people will be your friends ? Come on now. At least your pen name would be enough.
well, all my best wishes to you, who knows……… are we going to know your name when one of your story appears in HOLLYWOOD movie ? LOL !! but seriously.
with respect,
–ruben
Thanks a lot for those totally undeserved compliments. This is probably the kindest thing I’ve heard all my life (sobs)
I’ve had the time of my life reading these posts. You know the best way to make someone curious is to give away information and hold the end of it.
I run an anonymous blog too. But I’m twice your age and struggle to write. And look at you!
I am so happy that you are so young and taking an initiative to write.I just read your latest entry about rato bangala, which intrigued me to read on as I am an ex student of rato bangala.Keep up the good work!
