If you’re expecting to read anything except what the title implies, think again. I warned you!
It’s heartening to know that even though I haven’t written anything for, what, six months, my blog still gets around 3 to 5 visitors per day(thanks WordPress!). And although my writing has become very rusty, somebody is reading this right now(yes I mean you).
Okay, good news first. I finally found a decent A-level college(Rato Bangala School) but as I’m very big on the anonymity issue I won’t elaborate(sorry!). I’m punching my fist in the air and shouting like Tarzan “Yeaahhhhh”, so you get the level of my excitement!
Now for the bad news. Months of abstinence from writing has taken its toll. Just look at the number of brackets and exclamation marks I’ve used in the last two paragraphs(winces..no not again!). Or perhaps it’s just the teenager in me getting overzealous. Well, whatever…
Hello Shane291,
I am sorry writing this email as a reply to this post but I can’t find an email-adress. Maybe you can read this and then just delete it.
my name is Toby Kirch and I am a Design-Student from Germany.
I found your interesting blog online.
We are currently working on a fictitious project about the world expo.
I am designing a pavillion for Nepal.
The last days I am trying to get to know Nepal better and I wondered
if you had time to answer me a few questions.
Because Nepal is a country of so many different people it is hard to
make out the real identity of the country for an outsider.
I think Nepal is more than the mountains that surround the country
and that should be visible in an expo-pavillion.
How do you see your country?
What are Nepals main goals for the future?
What would you say stands for Nepal, like main traditions or main cultural events?
What is the young generations nepali view on the world and the world that surrounds them?
What would you like to see presented in a Nepal world expo-pavillion?
Do different ethnic groups in Nepal work and live together or is there not much contact at all between different nepal cultures?
And maybe you have some other words of inspiration which
define you as a Nepal inhabitant.
Thank you ever so much.
It would be great if you find time to answer some of the questions and
it would be nice to get to know Nepal better.
Thank you very much in advance.
All the best and kind regards.
Toby Kirch
